高雄縣教師會理事長劉亞平接連針對高雄中學的違規事項提出檢舉，因而遭雄中學生在網路上以粗言辱罵一事，近日引發許多關於「言論自 由的界限」的討論。在相關討論中，部分論者認為關鍵在於「學生只知其擁有言論自由權，卻不知言論自由的界限何在」；而雄中校方雖未對此事公開定調，卻也做 出了與此觀點異曲同工的處置：立即安排當事學生向劉亞平當面道歉，並邀請法界人士到校向學生宣導說明相關法律責任。
